Lodha Ceases Subsidiary Status of Thane Commercial Tower A Management
Lodha Developers announced that Thane Commercial Tower A Management Private Limited ceased to be a wholly owned subsidiary on June 10, 2026. The company transferred proportionate equity shares to unit holders of the Lodha iThink-Tower A project.
Management Handover Framework
The cessation follows the transfer of proportionate equity shares to the unit holders of the Lodha iThink-Tower A project, in accordance with contractual arrangements and the provisions of the Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act, 1963 (MOFA). The completion of the transfer is expected before August 31, 2026.
Thane Commercial was incorporated specifically to provide infrastructure, facility management, and allied services for the commercial building located at Eastern Express Highway, Thane. The transfer distributes ownership to unit holders in proportion to their individual holdings within the tower, shifting operational control from Lodha Developers to the property occupants themselves.
Regulatory Filing and Context
The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Sanjyot Rangnekar, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, signed the filing.
This transition reflects a common practice in high-rise commercial properties in India, where facility management subsidiaries are established during development and later transferred to unit holders' collective ownership bodies, enabling occupants to manage shared services directly.
